Local software developer, Eralis (formerly Enprise), has won the Industry Solution Excellence Award for 2008 at the SAP Business One Annual Global Solution Partner Awards.
SAP AG has announced the winners of their SAP Business One Global Partner Awards for 2008. Eralis was acknowledged for “leadership in delivering industry specific solutions for small enterprises” and received the award in person at SAPs recent Summer Sales Meeting in San Diego, California.
SAPs Industry Solution initiative revolves around the concept of complete, pre-configured, best practice solutions tailored for specific industries. Solutions are made available to reseller partners to help drive volume business and include customizable marketing material, sales resources, best practice implementation guides and pre-configured end user databases. The result for the end user is a best practice solution, tailored for their industry and delivered in less time than a traditional ERP implementation, saving money and down time.
From a global community of almost 200 Software Solution Partners, Eralis is one of only seven that have received honors, and is one of four software partners asked by SAP to help develop the Industry Solution initiative.
Eralis’ solution, Eralis Job for IT Services, has been rolled out with overwhelming success to partners across the US, Canada, UK and Australia. “Moving from an opportunistic approach to selling to a repeatable, volume-based model, makes a lot of sense,” says Mark Loveys. “SAPs Industry Solution initiative helps both software and reseller partners achieve greater profitability while also enabling them to pass on significant cost savings to clients. The clients also benefit by receiving a best practice implementation tailored to the unique requirements of their industry.”
Eralis’ flagship product, Eralis Job, has received significant attention since becoming SAP certified in 2004. It won SAPs award for best ISV developed add-on in 2006, as well as SAPs Award for Leadership Innovation 2007. Compounding on the earlier success of the more generic job costing solution, Eralis Job for IT Services, has already achieved strong results, with sales off the back of industry solution specific marketing campaigns in the US, Canada and the UK.
Eralis’ product suite now includes a bank interface module, general ledger integration, a purchase requisitions module, web-based time sheet entry, and a solution to handle recurring invoicing and service calls. All of these add-ons have been built specifically to enhance the already impressive feature list of SAP Business One.
