Aklin Carbide Takes on Full SAP Business One ERP Solution from 4most

Vereeniging-based pump engineering company, Aklin Carbide, selected SAP Business One as their new business management system. The contract to supply, implement and support the financial and accounting ERP system has been won by SAP Business One specialist, 4most, a Logic Group company.

The solution is scheduled to go-live at the end of November and includes financials, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashbook, purchasing, sales inventory and workflow approval procedures and alerts. It will operate on a local area network (LAN).

Leon Jacobs, 4most Corporate Sales, said the solution will also provide Eralis Job (formerly Enprise Job) to monitor Aklin Carbide reconditioning projects. The solution will also ensure management has quick, easy access to progress reports and production status information.

The full integration of the business into SAP Business One and Eralis Job will eliminate duplication and recapturing of information, and provide Aklin Carbide management with real-time views of all information relating to stock, project progress and production.

“The SAP solution, once commissioned and fully operational with full ERP functionality, will lead to measurable improvements in productivity and control,” said Jacobs.
